The walking group meets on the third Thursday of each month at 9:45am. To cater for our members who come from many different locations the walks are chosen to be within approximately half an hour’s drive from Lake Karrinyup Country Club. They are, for the most part, on level ground and are located near a café so that coffee and fellowship become part of the outing.
In August 2020 a walk was held on the Iluka Coastal Path from Burns Beach Café to the Iluka lookout and back, approximately 2.5 km in total. The walk was along the limestone cliffs in the Iluka Foreshore Park on a sealed path with some undulations. The Iluka lookout has about 50 or so steps up to the platform with a 360 degree view over both land and sea.
